- DOG RESCUES: Each month we donate to different rescues throughout the USA. At the end of every month, we tally up the number of leashes and collars sold. Based on the number, we determine how many rescues we can donate to for that month. We donate down our list of rescues until each one has received a donation and then we go back to the top of our list. In special cases, we will donate to rescues out of turn based on their immediate needs.
- QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: Our dog collar is 1" wide (3/4" S, 5/8" XS) and made with a 2mm thick nylon layer (1.5mm for XS). We use a heavy duty nylon snap buckle that has a lockable tab (XS not lockable) to prevent accidental release. We use a thick D-ring which is anodized to a gunmetal finish. At Max and Neo Dog Gear, we believe that this feature is so important that we do not make a single collar, leash or harness that is not reflective.
Many other collars use a thin line of reflective stitch or a reflective tape that may peel off if the collar gets wet. The NEO collar has two lines of 2mm wide reflective stitching that is interwoven right into the webbing. This gives the collar a large amount of reflective surface area compared to other collars. You can see the difference at night when you shine a flashlight against our collars vs the competition.
